Maybe someday I will get used to this. :)

Well, it has been a month and a half since my last post. Maybe someday I will get the hang of this. Stranger things have happened. :)

Today Superhero had a tough day. He went to bed was too late last night and had to go to school this morning. At school he actually had to have a letter sent home to me and Daddy Love. This week he decided he didn't want to complete his work in class. So it was sent home to him to finish. I make him work on it, then on his homework he had.

It is so hard. Before he started school he couldn't wait for it. Now that he has to go he doesn't like to go. I know he has fun and enjoys it, but he is not a morning person and is having a hard time adjusting to having to get up early in the morning to get ready for school.

Superhero and Bibbit love to get together and "play school". They like to pretend to be teachers, and I encourage it, so they continue to have a love for school. I used to play school and would love doing extra work. I know, I know, I am the poster child for a nerd. :) But it was fun for me. Learning was always fun for me and still is. So I want that for my boys. I hope they excel and can be everything I didn't become and more. I love them so much I want them to have a life like I never could.

Don't get me wrong, I love my life and I wouldn't trade it for anything, but Daddy Love and I have to work hard to everything. I keep so busy right now, nannying during the day and then oftentimes going straight from that to work at the airport.

Luckily I have been able to get a lot of time off at the airport. It has been nice being able to spend time with my family. I am so lucky and love my job so much.

We did have one of our cars broken into this week. Turns out that at least 5 cars in just my cul-de-sac were broken into in the last week. They stole our stereo, temp tag for the car, spare change and the keys to car. Poor Superhero told me tonight that he didn't feel safe in the house because someone might break in. I told him that I locked the doors and since we reported the theft to the police they would watch us, but I wish I could really tell him it is totally safe.

I was just discussing this fact with a friend tonight. We were talking about how sad it is that we live in a world that we have to live in fear. Her Dad used to hitch hike from one state to another without any thought and I told her I can't even pull over to help someone change a tire for a fear of what could happen. It is such a shame that this is the way we have to live. I wish things would go back to a simpler life. Oh well.
