First day of kindergarten!!

Wow! It has been a long time since I blogged last and a lot has happened. We went on a family vacation in July to San Diego and had a lot of fun. But I will will you in on that later. There is bigger news today.

Today was Superhero's first day of kindergarten. He is going to a charter school and wears a uniform. He is so excited, but worried that he is going to be too shy to make new friends. He stayed up for an hour last night talking with his Grandpap worrying about it.

Yesterday I asked him what he wanted to bring for lunch. I asked if he wanted an apple in his lunch. He said no, that he wanted to bring his teachers an apple. He has 2 teachers, and he brought in two apples today. He told me what to write on the note. Dear Ms ____ and Ms ____,

These apples are for you. Have a good day.

Then he wrote Love, Superhero.

I am so proud of him, and so proud of myself for not crying. He is growing up so fast. I am sure it will hit me later.

The school is going to is brand new, just opened this year. We visited the school on Thursday and he met his teachers. They seem to be really nice, but REALLY young. I couldn't believe it. It will be nice that he has teachers with a lot of energy.

I know he will be so excited today and have a lot of stories. Hopefully I will remember to come put them on here. I will post pictures below.

Well, I have to go get Bibbit up and dressed.
