Fondue is yummy!

Last night one of my mommy friends invited us over for fondue at her house. She lives about 45 minutes north of me. It was so nice to go and see her again. There were 8 of us there sharing lies and war stories over fondue. It was great. I met a few mommas that I hadn't had a chance to meet before, and also saw some I hadn't seen in a while. I had a lot of fun with them. Then once the fondue night was over we got out of the house and stood outside talking for another hour and a half last night. It was so fun. It is nice to get to know other moms. I am so happy that I found the mommy network I found. It rocks and is my salvation a lot of times. I have so many great friends I have met through there, that I would never have met otherwise. It is wonderful to have friends that get what it is like to have kids and know how it is to be busy. I don't always have time to cultivate a friendship in the normal ways like phone calls and visits, but since we can get on and post about our days and everyone sees everything on their own time, it is nice. I feel like these mommas who have never even met me know more about me than people I interact with on a daily basis. I feel so lucky to have them.
