Here are are on probably day 3 now of Arin's mystery bug. Apparently it waited a little while to reach my kids. It is puking during the night, diarrhea at night and in the morning, and totally fine during most of the day.
Superhero was kind of nauseous on Tuesday during the day, but went to school and was fine. That night while I was at work he puked and had diarrhea. Then yesterday morning, more diarrhea. Then he was totally fine yesterday. Not sick at all. Then of course at 3:20 a.m. today he comes in and tells me he doesn't feel good. I rush and get an old ice cream bucket for him to use as a puke bucket. He cries, yells and complains, but no puke yet.
Then he gets ready so I hold the bucket for him. His first projectile vomit landed half in the bucket and half on my lap. Yummy! What a good morning wake up call. He just keeps telling me how much he hates the bug. So I was off to a quick shower and I am totally awake at 3:30a.m. When will this end? I can't afford to get this bug either. I can't miss work. I hope Bibbitt doesn't get it either.
I just I e-mailed the teachers and let them know he will be out today. Now, just thinking about it, I feel naseous. I hope it passes soon. I hope that we can contain it. I think Arin's family fought it for about a week and a half. We shall see.
