I need to get into the groove of posting. Things have been pretty normal. Things are busy at work. I even spent the night at the airport Friday night and woke up after 3 or so hours of sleep and worked 7:15a.m.-9:15p.m. on Saturday. I am doing it again on Saturday, but this time I am working from 5:30a.m.-9:15p.m. I am crazy. Why do I do this to myself? We can really use the money, but I could use my sanity too. :) These will be the last doubles for a little while.
Sunday was nice. I went to a baby shower for some of my great friends. There were I think 6 pregnant mommas there. It was at my friend Arin's house and it was wonderful. It was so nice to have some mom time, and not worry about anything. Except getting to work that day. The girls made me change into my uniform there and model the coveralls and steel toes. lol. Not exactly the sexiest outfit. They took blackmail pictures, which I hope remain hidden.
Things are going well both at work and home. They boys are adjusting well to me working, since Dad is usually home by the time I leave. We have had a few days that they go to a friends, but mostly Daddy comes home to them.
We have our house for sale right now and have had a large increase in showings lately. Guess I better make sure the house is clean. We have another showing today.
So, not exactly an exciting entry, but I want to get used to entering something.

Ahhh yes the airline industry double. I have pulled many of those myself. One week I ran FIVE doubles and a 12 hour shift, and a regular 8 hour. That was a phat paycheck. Even after the government raked me over the coals for it. One time, I got home from a double (7am - 11pm) and was so wired I couldn't fall asleep... I ended up awake all night, and going in for ANOTHER 16 hour shift at 7AM again. Much caffine ingestion that day I'll tell you.
Gone are those days. I couldn't do it if I tried.
